About Us
Bouckaert Industrial Textiles (BIT) is a leading US manufacturer of industrial felt, based on the East Coast. We help companies turn ideas into successful products, and we are ready for the next project regardless of size or complexity.
Our Story
Thomas Bouckaert founded BIT in 1988. The company started by manufacturing disaster relief blankets, then moved into technical needle punch felt, both wool and synthetic, for the nonwoven fabric industry.
In 2000, BIT was acquired by The Brickle Group, which brought more than 75 years of experience in industrial textiles. That partnership expanded our production and let us control the full flow of nonwoven textiles, from fiber to finished goods. The result is consistent, high quality felt from both synthetic and natural fibers, at the best price.
Our Mission
We are, and always will be, a custom nonwoven manufacturer that works with clients to engineer a solution for the exact need. We look forward to the opportunity to meet your needs and exceed your expectations.
